He also highlighted Rudyard Kipling’s poem If as a guiding principle: “If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs… and if you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, but make allowance for their doubting too. Those words keep any ego in check.”

Leonard closed with advice for emerging leaders: “It has to start with authenticity. Lead with action more than words. Anyone can be a leader in their own way… it’s in the execution.”
